Do you farm honey? Another recycle that junk find of the day.

Continuing the cleanup of my father’s shop, I came across another unexpected find: a bee smoker. A few weeks ago, I discovered an old beekeeper’s head net and did a vlog about it, not knowing this smoker was tucked away as well. At first, I couldn’t imagine why my father had either item. After talking with family historians—specifically, my mother—I learned that my great-grandfather, House, was quite the beekeeper back in the day. Apparently, he had a sincere passion for bees.

These discoveries add a new layer to our family history and connect me with a piece of the past I didn’t know much about. It’s amazing what you can uncover when you start cleaning out an old workshop.
